Empire Season 4 Episode 9

Lucious Lyon is the king of hip-hop. An immensely talented artist, the CEO of Empire Entertainment and a former street thug, his reign has been unchallenged for years. But all that changes, when he learns he has a disease that is going to render him crippled and incapacitated in a matter of three years. The clock is ticking, and he must groom one of his three sons to take over his crowning achievement, without destroying his already fractured family.

S02: three months after the shocking arrest and incarceration of Empire Entertainment head Lucious Lyon. Knowing Lucious won’t be held much longer in prison, Cookie and her allies within the Lyon family make a desperate attempt to seize control of the company. But as the Lyons continue to battle each other, a bigger external threat emerges that could force them to unite.

S03: Lucious pursues his music legacy with his streaming service, while also clashing with his half-brother, Tariq, who is leading a federal task force investigating him. Cookie aims to start over, in pursuit of her own happiness with a new romantic interest. Meanwhile, the Lyon brothers struggle with fame and ambition, and the choices they face will become a battle for the soul of the Lyon family.

S05: Two years after the loss of their record label, Empire, the Lyon family has not yet got their hands on their label, but Lucious and Cookie have found each other thanks to this situation. The family has survived tragedies and must join forces to start from scratch and build a new project. But fame and fortune always have a cost to pay...
