A year after the Fairy Tail guild has overcome the diabolical forces of Acnologia and Zeref, Natsu and his team trek into the northern continent of Guiltina, where they seek out the employer of the 100 Years Quest and receive their nearly impossible mission: to seal away the Five Dragon Gods—a group of individuals with such vast power that, if left alone, could cause global devastation. Meanwhile, a spirited new member named Touka is recruited to Fairy Tail. Although her vibrant energy and passionate nature makes her perfect for the guild, there seems to be more to her than meets the eye.

S01E05 A Bitter Choice
The ships stop sailing, and Natsu and the others launch a counterattack. Lucy and Gray also join up, and the battle with Diablos intensifies. Sensing that they are at a disadvantage, the enemy leader, Scallion, chooses to retreat for the time being. Natsu and the others then return to Elmina in the remaining boat, but notice something strange about the town from the sea. They quickly land and find that buildings are half-destroyed and residents are fleeing in complete chaos. Meanwhile, a particularly large column of water rises up nearby! The overwhelming destructive power of the water... could it be the rampage of the Water God Dragon, Merckphobia?!
