Momoko (Arimura), 27, works at a big home center in the suburb of Tokyo. She lost her parents when she was 18 and decided to work to raise 3 younger brothers on her own instead of going to college. Momoko is appointed by her boss to take charge of the Christmas decoration of the store. It's a big event for the whole store staff and a big challenge for Momoko. In a meeting about the decoration, Momoko meets Manato（Hayashi）. He is humble and hard-working, always smiling. Since Manato is working night shifts, Momoko can meet him only for a very short time, but she falls in love with him. Manato is very kind to Momoko, but it seems to her that there are walls between them.

On the day of Halloween, a major layout change was made for Christmas at the home improvement store after the store closed. The next morning, Momoko (Kasumi Arimura) looking up at the big fir tree displayed in the store felt a sense of accomplishment, and Masato (Kento Hayashi) also felt a joy that had never been experienced before. .. Momoko and Masato arrive home and spend their time alone while soaking in the afterglow of the fun time. However, one word triggers Momoko to realize that there is something in Masato that stubbornly keeps people away. On the other hand, Hinako (Eiko Koike) is becoming more and more attracted to Satoshi (Naohito Fujiki), but she is confused because she doesn't know what to do to invite her to a date. Therefore, I propose a strategy in Momoko.
