Chimera incident, serial murder and explosion crime that shook the year of 1984, takes place exactly the same thirty five years later in 2019. Just like the terrible explosion in the past, the murder of the crime is called Chimera, a monster in the Greek myth with the head of a lion, body as a goat, and tail as a snake that shoots fire through its throat.

S01E12 The Chimera's Threat and the Prosecution
Joong Yeop claims that he assaulted people. He turns himself in at the police station, and a suspicious package is delivered to Chief Bae's office. Meanwhile, the prosecution shows up and takes Joong Yeop to a remote mountain, even causing a car crash on purpose. They make him walk deeper into the woods at gunpoint until they arrive at a cliff.
